A garden is another room with many of the same issues as a house. When designing an outdoor space I ask the same questions  how the space is used, by whom and for what. A garden needs to flow. Everyone wants somewhere to be comfortable, to feel secure and safe, to relax and unwind. Many people want a nature haven while some want a no manintenance space like an outdoor room. Some want storage, a studio office, space to play or somewhere to park.
